Designed to position the rider correctly, the DH Fender promotes a balanced, secure seat for greater comfort and confidence in the saddle. The supportive knee pads provide added stability when needed without restricting movement, while the nicely dished seat offers extra security and comfort for long days of riding. The saddle comes in a variety of seat sizes from 12.5”-13”-13.5”-14”-14.5”. ( needing another size please ask )
Our stock standard DH Fender is made on a semi QH Bar moulded tree .
We use a variety of trees from respected Australian tree makers who best suit the foundation of saddle we are acquiring to build , best suited to horse and rider in mind.
The trees are made from specially engineered polyurethane resin . They are reinforced with a number of composite components selected for their own individual dynamics.
They are durable and tough .
The saddles are made from quality materials and hardware .
You can choose your choice of leather color-
*Dark Brown.
*Chestnut.
*Natural.
The DH fender comes in two styles of seat choices .
- The slick seat , a one piece full seat . Available in full smooth leather or rough out leather . ( rough out is most popular as it provides extra grip and Marks less )
- One piece seat with cushion insert . Extra cushioning for the bottom , helps with comfort and long rides. Available in smooth or rough out .

The fenders on our saddles already come pre twisted -
Our pre-twisted fenders are designed to provide increased comfort and improved rider position from the very first ride. Professionally twisted to reduce strain on the knees and ankles, they allow your legs to sit more naturally against the horse, promoting better balance and stability in the saddle.
Plus super easy to slide your foot straight back in the stirrup should you loose footing .
We make two fender styles -
As a rider you may want Fenders that sit a little more straight and position your leg directly beneath or perhaps your after something with a little more “ kick” we can position fenders slightly more forward and shaped that way inclined.
Optional fender lengths .
You can choose from Brass or Stainless Steel fittings to accompany your saddle .
The saddle comes stock standard with aluminium oxbows .
Hand stitched treads are an extra $50.
However we do have access to other stirrup options also.
